an old man, once dean of the computing school, walks with a limp alone back to his office. nobody seems to remember who he was.
i don’t know. is it me? am i feeling things where they don’t exist? do i superimpose my imagination onto ordinary events?
it’s ok, it doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not. life is a series of losses. you just try to manage it best you can. it might help if you love pain and can keep moving forward. this sadness will be you one day too. but you’ll understand it, and it won’t hurt that much. your nerves become less intense. the mind dulls.
