Society as worlds, cities are stacked worlds

It would be nice if we made sure everyone in society had at least one friend, and that there might be better methods in urban design or city construction

Cities tend to be overwhelming because most socialization is small micro-interactions between people. You feel that you make a friend, meet someone, only that they end up busy and you never see them again, even though perhaps both wanted to but the schedules didn’t work out.

For large social media accounts and well-connected notable people, things might seem to be great for them as they seem to always be in demand everywheere. For may others, social media as it is now is kind of like shouting into a void.
