why the hell does thsi work? But it doesn’t in the other?

I suppose it’s possible to be grateful for what I have yet recognize that I’m not privileged. I have a family, which allows me some in-between time to decompress. Some people don’t have that, leading to a constant struggle and grind. But I’m still annoyed by things that make things difficult for me, such as an unstable family situation, or the fact that we live in a third tier city, or the lack of any cultural understanding my parents were able to impart.

Some people around me feel too grateful and fortunate, even though I don’t see them that way. They also live in a third-tier city. Am I missing something, are they missing something, or am I just more perceptive and exposed to more people with certain backgrounds so my frame of refrrence is such a way? I also feel like the less accomplished people are, the more likely they are to believe that you can change things in your life easily like career, but the people who are good and experts understand the difficulty in such a task. It might be a similar mindset for gratefulness.
